Free Antivirus

Do you currently have antivirus or internet security software for your computer? If not, you may want to take a look at what options might be available to you. Computer viruses and phishing are a growing occurrence today and it is only getting worse as time goes on. Some of my customers have internet security solutions installed on their computers but are often outdated which may be preventing them from being protected from some of today’s latest threats.

To assist everyone with staying protected, I would like to let you know that there are many ways you may be able to obtain internet security software for free. For example Bank of America offers a free 1 year subscription to McAfee Internet Security. Many internet service providers also offer some form of protection for your computer. If neither of those methods are available to you, keep your eyes peeled in retail stores such as BestBuy, Staples, and Office Depot. On occasion they will run sales on antivirus and internet security software for prices as low as a penny or sometimes even free after rebates.

If those methods fail, you always have the option of choosing some free antivirus products that are out there. Even though they may not be a first choice solution, getting free antivirus software from AVG or Avast will provide you with some protection which is always better than no protection at all. Hopefully this information will be useful to you for helping to keep your computer system secure.
